Top Floor Festival is led by a team of five female artists : Dunya Narli, Elise Ludinard, Julia Färber, Lauréline Bombaert and Victoria Kennett. It has been growing for 6 years as a DIY, pay-what-you-can festival in Brussels, creating space for dance, performance, and community. Each edition brings together emerging and international artists, offering workshops, performances, and moments of shared experience open to all.

With lots of love and attention, we gathered - once again - fantastic artists and teachers, giving them space to transmit and share their artistry with you.

We wish to provoke a sensitive body and space for questioning and reflecting, through dance, through movement, through gathered bodies and personal stories, through performing arts, through the many encounters... how we open up and respond to the world that is presented to us?

We make the choice to connect over seas and create bridges with an other DIY columbian festival, TROPICO INTENSO, to connect with Contredanse to bring movement into thinking and vice versa. We decide to organise a Marché pirate and give space to urgent battles and political necessities, to collaborate with Radio Panik and archive sound samples of the festival into a radio show.

Weaving a tensile thread between communities and practices, Top Floor's fate is to facilitate space to artists and movers that investigate their own means of expression and share what matters to them. We keep rising to build a common Floor for these to meet.
