 Nelson is a colombian performing artist who wanders between Europe and Latin America building networks of care and affection. Co-founder of Other Side Company (France), the Trópico Intenso training gathering (Colombia), and the Carretel Collective (Colombia), through which he has focused and developed his independent work as a performer, choreographer, and cultural manager.

Daniela also comes from Colombia and is an interdisciplinary performing artist and producer. She conceives creation as a relational space that hybridizes languages, knowledge, and disciplines. She is the co-artistic director of the Trópico Intenso Association.



Both artists work for Tropico Intenso, a non-profit sociocultural association that strengthens cultures and ways of life through artistic, educational, and community projects. We promote social transformation, inclusion, and human rights through training, creation, and research in art, communication, culture, and sustainability, in alliance with communities at local and international levels. The international collaboration between Top Floor Festival and Tropico Intenso is taking shape this year with their interventions during the week of festival.

"Que ganas de Chokar" is a laboratory born from the joy and urgency of moving without asking for permission. The "choque," that popular dance, will be the excuse and the trigger: bodies seeking each other like brakeless cars, knowing that upon touching, cracks open. We speak of encounters where speed becomes a language and the body a living archive.
